The Hague

The Hague, locally known as Den Haag is the third largest city of The Netherlands.  It is home to The Dutch Royal Family, numerous global companies and inter-governmental bodies such as the UN Court of Human Rights.

Being the largest Dutch City by the sea, with a coastline that stretches 11km within just 15 minutes reach (by tram), this makes it a desirable location for expats to set up home. As well as the wide sandy beaches, The Hague also offers many open green spaces, art and history in abundance and plenty of activities for children.

With its comprehensive network of road and rail links, The Hague is less than an hour to Amsterdam, 30 minutes to Rotterdam and 40 minutes to Schipol Airport, and easily accessible to the rest of The Netherlands.

Due to The Hague’s international residents, there are many International Schools catering to different education systems and offering a good choice of high quality education for ages 4-18. There are more than 10 International schools offering education in the French, German, English, American and IB systems.
